Don’t Stroke! Vote! Says CFS

Owners of the gay website, Cruising For Sex, will announce this week plans to shut down all their websites for a full day on Election Day in a campaign they’re calling “Don’t Stroke! Vote!” November 7, 2006 is the day for mid-term elections in the United States and all 435 House seats, 33 Senate seats, and 36 governorships are up for grabs.

“We want to encourage site visitors to stop stroking on this one day and instead devote their spare time to voting,” said company founder Keith Griffith. “It is also not missed on us the not so subtle message to site visitors that the future of porn in the USA is on the line. Taking porn offline is an intention of the current Bush administration and this is being backed by laws from Congress.”

Griffith said he was not aware of similar plans by other websites but the decision to make this public 2 weeks ahead of the election is done in hopes that other webmasters will take similar action. “This could be a truly meaningful grassroots action to draw attention to what is at stake in the USA. Porn is at risk as an industry,” stated Griffith. “All our freedoms, not just the right to earn a living making adult entertainment, are in grave jeopardy right now and no freedom-loving citizen can afford to sit out this election.”

Sites going offline for this one day campaign include:

http://www.cruisingfordicks.com

http://www.cruisingforescorts.com

http://www.cfsporn.com

CFS websites have been online for 10 years and while some sites are membership driven, the majority of the content is free and is advertiser supported. “We want to thank our advertisers for being supportive of our actions,” stated Griffith. “After all, site visitors will not see the usual banners that direct them to purchase various adult products.”

AdultHire.com Celebrates Three-Year Anniversary

xxx porn job in adult sex

SEATTLE, WA (October 17, 2006) – Adulthire.com, a job classifieds site for models and producers in the adult entertainment industry, is celebrating its three-year anniversary.

“With over 8400 models and around 4400 producers, we remain in awe of our site’s success,” states co-owner Allen McNulty. “Before starting this site, the most common question we were asked by our producers at AMVC.com was where to find models. So…we decided to create a small forum for models and producers to meet. Little did we know it would take off like it did!”

AdultHire.com is owned by AMVC.com and On The Edge of Cyberspace, Inc.

Porn Company Raided By FBI

For the second reported time, another adult entertainment company was raided by the FBI within only two weeks time.

JJ Ruch, owner of Sebastian Sloane Productions, is a small company that produces amateur, gay videos. With only a handful of videos on the market, this producers is further proof that the FBI isn’t just going after large companies during their impromptu inspections to make sure that adult producers are complying with 2257 regulations (Federal record-keeping and labeling regulations, 18 U.S.C. §2257) and that they have no child porn.

Ruch stated “The government that we pay our damn tax dollars to is focusing on this stupid shit rather than focusing on animal abusers, men who beat their families and wives, murderers, frauds, and all other actual criminal activities.”

JJ emailed us while the FBI was still there going through his things. He emailed us again after the inspection was completed and we advised him to contact AVN to get the word out to a mass audience of people in the industry. That article is here.

After 5 hours of the FBI going through his office, computer, and home, they left. JJ added, “When they left they shook my hand, thanked me for my time, and thanked me for not supporting child pornography.”

Petty Fuckers

According to Reuters, “Goldman Sachs Group Inc., the blue chip investment bank, wants a Netherlands man to change the name of a sex-themed Web site called goldmansex.com. Goldman Sachs last week submitted a complaint to the National Arbitration Forum (NAF) arguing the Internet domain name goldmansex.com would cause confusion and contained links to objectionable “adult” material.”

This is the dumbest dispute I’ve heard to date. There is no fucking way anyone would ever confuse the two. Ever. Seriously. Never.

I hope goldmansex.com makes a fortune off of the free publicity! (And wins the dispute, too)

AMVC.com Adds Twenty-Eight New Producers To Site

SEATTLE, WASHINGTON (June 18, 2006) – AMVC.com, an amateur video production and distribution company, today announced that twenty-eight new gay and straight producers have been added to its site.

CamsOnDemand, Big Red Curtain Productions, Commando Video, Don’t Bet Me, Fresh Boyz Productions, Hazloke Video, Hot UK Club, Jerk Studios, Pig Daddy Productions, and SSP Productions are the ten new gay producers.

The eighteen new straight producers are: Andrew Ward TV Productions, Atlanta Erotic Video, Butterwaters, Chelsea Videos, CyberDyke, Emerald City Studios, FC Productions, FLT Videos, J & S Videos, MarkCom Productions, Misty’s XXX Girls, Pinkybricks Productions, SexMeUp Videos, Synergy Films, Texxxas Entertainment, TnA Films, Toxxxic Video, and Vagabond Entertainment.

These twenty-eight producers bring AMVC.com to 106 gay producers and 61 straight producers. Combined, these producers offer AMVC.com’s customers more than 1450 films with an extraordinary variety of homemade videos from which to choose.

“The purpose of AMVC.com remains the same, says co-owner Allen McNulty. We offer amateur producers a distribution point for their unique videos, as well offering our customers an extremely large and diverse place to find homemade videos.”

AMVC.com Begins Phasing Out VHS and PAL

SEATTLE, WASHINGTON (November 8, 2005) – AMVC.com, an amateur video production and distribution company, today announced that it will begin phasing out VHS and PAL sales on its site. The company will discontinue selling VHS once its blank media inventory is depleted. The remaining video options at AMVC will continue to be DVD and streaming videos.

“I realize that most other companies jumped on this bandwagon when they saw Blockbuster do it,” says AMVC.com’s co-owner Allen McNulty, “but our VHS sales percentages were just way too high to lose those sales and customers. Now, however, we are seeing a substantially lower percentage of VHS sales vs. our DVD sales, so we feel it’s time to begin phasing it out of our product line.”

Senators Seek Porn Tax

And heading it up is…yes…wait for it..a Democrat. Sen. Blanche Lincoln, an Arkansas Democrat, claims this porn tax will make the internet a “safer place for children” and the bill would impose a 25 percent tax on the revenue of most adult-themed Web sites. But…..will we be passing that bill onto you, the consumer?

As an adult company owner, my first thought and hope is that this is the first time the adult entertainment industry has been “legitimized” and as long as the government is making more money from us then maybe they’ll stop riding our collective asses (hey…new video idea right there and you were here when it happened :)

But seriously folks….how in fuck’s sake can they say that we’re evil, obscene, smelly, God-less, and should be removed from the planet but then impose a tax on us. Doesn’t make sense. Christ..I just had a horrible thought. What if they make us state-controlled like liquor. They determine our selling hours, our prices, they run the stores, and no porn on Sundays! teehee.

It’s not just the government who take advantage of adult companies though. Yahoo (and others) do the same. Did you know that if you run a non-adult website and want a listing in Yahoo’s Directory that it costs you $299.00 for them to bump you to the top of the list (but doesn’t guarantee inclusion)? Then it’s $299.00 a year “renewal fee”. If you’re an adult website, it’s $699.00 for the bump and then $699.00 every year after. I assume they must have their reasons, but I have no clue what they are (nor does anybody I’ve ever met). Of course after bitching about it, we paid them the money for our listing :)

Like everything else the government fucks with me about, I’ll be keeping my eye on this one too.

Lower Prices And They Will Come

xxx amateur videos

SEATTLE, WASHINGTON (July 22, 2005) AMVC.com, an amateur video production and distribution company, today announced that it has seen an increase in VHS and DVD sales as a result of substantially lowering prices. Co-owner Allen McNulty stated, I had a theory a couple of years ago that streaming videos would overtake VHS/DVD sales. Of course today we can see that’s a no-brainer now that we have the advantage of hindsight but I wanted to test the theory further by lowering the prices on all of the films we own and asking all of our producers to voluntarily do the same. Some of the producers were not interested, but we now have a one-month statistic showing that they may want to rethink their pricing strategy. We more than doubled our revenue on our own films in just one month. Several producers experienced a substantial increase in sales, with one producer who had sold zero films in May and ended up selling 25 films in June as a result of the price drop.

I realize that one month does not a statistical analysis make, McNulty adds, but I was certainly impressed and we continue to monitor how sales have changed. If it keeps up, we’re probably going to reeavaluate our site’s pricing policy. I mean, this is business and business is sales and sales are all about customer satisfaction and loyalty. The price drop certainly has covered all of these in our first test run, so it only makes sense to run with it.
